RETAIL INSIDE OUT
Welcome to the new RETAIL INSIDE OUT Series of events from POPAI
ANZ. We commence this series with an exceptional event at the Microsoft
Flagship store in Sydney. All of our events will include a private and behind
the scenes tour of stand out retailers and their environments. Tours will be
accompanied by insightful presentations from industry leading local
and/or international speakers.
RETAIL INSIDE OUT MARCH 3 - Store Tour
Private tour from Nick Wells, Store Leader, at the recently
launched global flagship Microsoft store in Pitt Street Sydney. An inside
look at the store design, layout, digital capabilities (including messaging,
content and interactivity), sales strategies, staffing and management.
Positioned on one of the most expensive and attractive retail strips
on the planet, understanding the store, it’s learnings to date and it’s
future is something you don’t want to miss.
RETAIL INSIDE OUT MARCH 3 - Speakers
INTERSECTION OF CONTENT & COMMERCE
In today’s ever-changing path to
purchase, retailers need to deliver content that is both contextually relevant
and crafted to trigger transactions.
With leading retailers looking at every social channel as a purchase
platform, the lines between media and retail are blurring. Hear how retailers deliver content and
experiences that connect with purchase. How to enhance the
physical store with digital content, how retail strategies must be delivered
through search, and predict the future when wearables, and other new
innovations become shoppable by tomorrow’s consumers.
Presenting: SAME SAME, BUT DIFFERENTIATED.
A local and global perspective on the ever evolving retail
landscape, the nature of keeping up with the competition, whilst going that
extra mile to ensure success. Explore the widespread challenge of maintaining a
relentless transactional business whilst investing the right energy and time
into transformation. How to ensure that whilst we’re meeting shoppers demands
today, we’re also best placed to meet and exceed their needs tomorrow. To
clearly identify the balance between provenance, tradition &
familiarity and innovation, risk taking & transformation. To establish and
maintain true differentiation.
