Active Display Group recognised at Myer Supplier of the Year Awards -
again
Melbourne,December 2, 2015: STW’s Active
Display Group (ADG) has been recognised for outstanding work with leading
retailer Myer, taking out the coveted Supplier of the Year in the Creative Marketing Category of its 2015
Supplier of the Year Awards.
Announced last week, the awards are an opportunity for Myer to celebrate
and recognise its most outstanding suppliers and business partners. The Awards are now in their eighth year, and
are a highly anticipated event for the Myer team and suppliers each year,
according to CEO Richard Umbers.
It is the second year running ADG has taken out the Supplier of the Year
in the Creative Marketing category; the agency was also nominated in the top
three finalists for the overall 2015 Gold Supplier of the Year Award.
ADG’s Sales Director James Ramsden
said of the accolade: “This is the third
time we have been awarded by Myer, and the eighth time we have been a finalist.
This is an absolute shining testament to all 350 staff at ADG across Australia
and abroad that pull together and make each activation happen,” he said.
“This award caps
off another great year working with Myer,” he continued. “We have re-signed a new supplier
contract and also completed some major roll outs including The Parramatta Hub,
new fixtures for the new Myer Hobart store, a new supply arrangement for
ongoing design, production and installation of the Myer Melbourne store Atrium
display and of course our regular busy roll outs for seasonal VM materials,” he said.
“A big thank you to James Sheppard and the entire Myer VM family. They
challenge us to produce inspiring VM and make it work in store.”
Myer’s General Manager, Visual Merchandising,
James Sheppard said: "This is a great achievement that acknowledges the
outstanding work and contribution ADG has made to Myer. We thank the ADG team
for their wonderful partnership, ongoing support and commitment to Myer in 2015.
The awards were announced at Myer’s annual gala ball at the Palladium
Ballroom at Crown Melbourne last week.
“ADG have been working with Myer since 1998, and our wonderful history
and the success here tonight can be attributed to a fantastic collaboration and
partnership between all of us at Active and the entire Myer team,” Ramsden
concluded.
